| The Comprehensive Bleeding Disorders Center (CBDC) was incorporated as a not-for-profit organization in 1996,
established specifically to serve people with bleeding disorders. CBDC is the only center in Illinois outside of Chicago providing and
supporting comprehensive services to persons with bleeding disorders.
CBDC has assembled a team of professionals; people who know and continue to learn about the different aspects of hemophilia.
This team is committed to promoting the health of affected individuals along with the education of both affected individuals and
the public about congenital bleeding disorders. CBDC believes health promotion includes facilitating the provision of comprehensive,
state-of-the-art treatment for individuals with hemophilia and related disorders and complications thereof, in the most cost-effective
manner possible, and promoting quality of life for those affected through support, education and clinical research.
